ISLAMABAD - A delegation of the All Pakistan Journalists Association (APJA) led by its Chairman Zaheer Alam visited the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Islamabad to express condolences over the death of Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

During the visit, members of the APJA delegation expressed their condolences to the Iranian Ambassador and diplomatic staff on behalf of journalists from across Pakistan. The delegation expressed deep sorrow over the tragic loss and prayed for the departed soul.

APJA representatives wrote their remarks in a condolence book at the embassy and said that the martyrdom of Ayatollah Syed Ali Khamenei is a significant loss to the Muslim Ummah. They prayed that Almighty Allah grant him the highest place in paradise and give the Iranian people the patience to bear this loss.

The delegation also expressed solidarity with the Iranian government and people in this difficult time and stressed the importance of unity among Muslim countries.
