Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter on Wednesday on the opening of the China International Trade in Services Fair (CIFTIS) 2025.

Xi pointed out that the current world economic situation is undergoing profound changes and global development is accompanied by both challenges and opportunities. China will continue to firmly commit to expanding high standards of openness, actively adapt to international economic and trade rules of high standards, accelerate the orderly opening up of its services market on platforms including pilot free trade zones and national demonstration zones for the innovative development of services trade, and promote the high-quality development of services trade.

China is ready to work with all parties to jointly promote open and innovative cooperation in global trade in services, build an open world economy and continuously bring new impetus to building a community with a shared future for mankind, Xi said.

CIFTIS 2025 was launched on Wednesday in Beijing with the theme "Embrace smart technology, empower the service business". The event is jointly organized by the Ministry of Commerce and the Beijing Municipal Government.
