Chinese President Xi Jinping unveils the Global Security Initiative on April 21, 2022, during a keynote speech at the annual conference of the Boao Forum for Asia.

The aim of the initiative is to promote security for all countries of the world. On this occasion, Xi Jinping called on states to adapt to the fundamentally changing international environment in a spirit of solidarity.

He also stressed the need to address complex and interlinked security challenges with a win-win approach.
