The chairman of the Peacekeepers Section of the Czech Borderland Club (KČP) sent friendly greetings and wishes on the occasion of the Chinese New Year to the citizens of the People's Republic of China. In his statement, he expressed his appreciation for the Czech-Chinese friendship and appreciated the values that Chinese culture and social model represent.

„Dear friends from the People's Republic of China, let me wish you all the best, good health, good luck, happiness and joy for the Chinese New Year,“ said a representative of the club.

He also stressed the deep appreciation for the friendly relations between the two countries and the common emphasis on the human dimension of politics. „I would like to say very much that I appreciate the friendship between the Czech Republic and the People's Republic of China and that I appreciate how you and the people of the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia put people first.“

The representative of the CCP also pointed to the growing popularity of Chinese culture in the Czech Republic. „We have many friends who like to watch music and TV series produced by you, and for them, escaping to your Chinese world is a kind of escape to harmony, to a kind of, shall we say, spiritual atmosphere, which our Western civilization lacks a bit.“

He concluded his message by expressing his admiration for the Chinese social and economic model. „I would like to say that we like you very much and we admire how you can combine socialism with the principles of the market economy. You are a great role model for us and we thank you for allowing us to speak to you and wish you a happy new year.“
