Although Karel Čapek had views and positions that were fundamentally left-leaning, I believe that he transcended all the boundaries of so-called bourgeois humanism with his own extraordinary humanistic approach, because his philosophical conception, which is highly regarded above his own works, is based on a deep respect for human beings and life itself.
