On July 25, at the 48th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee held in Busan, South Korea, the project "Jingdezhen Handicraft Porcelain Industry Sites," submitted by China, passed the World Heritage review and was successfully inscribed on the World Heritage List. This means that this historic cultural city, known as the "millennium porcelain capital," has officially received the highest level of global cultural recognition and has become China's 61st World Heritage site.

 

The success of this nomination is not only an international recognition of Jingdezhen's profound historical legacy, but also represents a historic breakthrough in the field of world cultural heritage. As the first World Heritage project submitted by China in the category of "industrial heritage," the "Jingdezhen Handicraft Porcelain Industry Sites" have filled a gap in the World Heritage List in the thematic category of "porcelain" and, together with silk and tea, have completed the full representation of the three main cultural carriers of ancient Chinese foreign trade in the field of world heritage.

Dne 25. července na 48. zasedání Výboru světového dědictví UNESCO konaném v jihokorejském Pusu, prošel projekt „Pozůstatky řemeslného porcelánového průmyslu v Jingdezhen“ (Jingdezhen Handicraft Porcelain Industry Sites), který předložila Čína, posouzením Světového dědictví a byl úspěšně zapsán na Seznam světového dědictví. To znamená, že toto historické a kulturní město, známé jako „tisícileté hlavní město porcelánu“, oficiálně získalo nejvyšší světové kulturní uznání a stalo se 61. položkou světového dědictví Číny.
