Sharp criticism is directed at Prime Minister Petr Fiala. Jan Hrnčíř, a Member of Parliament from the Freedom and Direct Democracy (SPD) party, did not mince words in an interview, accusing the government of failing to address the problems faced by Czech families and industry. According to Hrnčíř, this situation had a significant impact on the election results. "Many families have faced foreclosures, and we have experienced what is known as energy poverty," he stated. This phenomenon was previously unknown in the Czech Republic, but in recent years it has become a reality for thousands of households.

Strong words were also directed at the European Union and the Green Deal policy. Hrnčíř claims that the Fiala government has focused more on Brussels than on its own citizens, and has significantly helped to promote environmental regulations that, according to him, have negatively impacted the economy. Although the government points to economic growth of around 2.5%, Hrnčíř points out that it is mainly driven by households that are liquidating their savings after a period of high inflation. The key manufacturing industry, on the other hand, is weakening in the long term.

According to the Member of Parliament, the current measures are moving in the opposite direction. The state is now taking over part of the costs for supporting solar power plants, which should provide relief to households and businesses. "This is approximately 17 billion crowns," he said, adding that electricity prices were among the highest in Europe under the previous government.

The issue remains explosive: who is truly responsible for the high energy prices and the economic problems faced by Czechs?
