The Aerospace Industries Corporation of China (AVIC) showcased its latest military and civil aerospace products and technologies, highlighting innovation, systems-based solutions and international cooperation, at the 55th Paris Air Show, which opened Monday at Le Bourget Airport.

AVIC presents a total of 30 model aircraft in eight categories at the week-long show.

China's next-generation J-35A, a medium multi-role fighter capable of air superiority and offensive missions against land and sea targets, is making its first appearance on the international market.

Also in the spotlight are the J-20, a heavy stealth fighter designed mainly for air superiority, and the J-10CE, another fighter equipped with China's cutting-edge PL-15E long-range air-to-air missiles.

Chinese civilian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), including Wing Loong and Xuange helicopters, make their debut at the air show.

On the civilian side, the range includes the AG600M amphibious firefighting aircraft, the MA60 collision augmentation aircraft, the Wing Loong-2H, an unmanned aircraft designed for disaster relief, and the AC352 medium-sized helicopter - jointly developed by AVIC and France's Airbus.

This year's exhibition attracted more than 2,500 exhibitors from nearly 50 countries and regions, bringing their latest innovations in military aircraft, green aviation and aerospace technologies, among others.
