"We cooperate with Chinese suppliers not only in the areas of finance and human resources, but also in innovation. The Apple supply chain cannot be separated from China." At the 3rd China International Supply Chain Fair, which concluded on July 20th, Isabel Ge Mahe, Apple's Vice President and General Manager for China, spoke with a reporter from "International Assessment."

Many representatives from multinational corporations expressed similar sentiments: "You can find a large number of excellent suppliers in just one hour," "the Chinese supply chain is not only complete and large, but also highly responsive," "it is a stabilizer for ensuring business production"...

As an important international public platform for maintaining the stability of the global supply chain, this fair attracted 1200 exhibitors, with the number of American exhibitors increasing by 15% compared to the previous year. The majority of exhibitors were from overseas, and over 6000 cooperation agreements and intentions were signed at the event. It is worth noting that a key feature of this exhibition is the promotion of joint participation by suppliers of raw materials and manufacturers.

For example, Apple participated in the fair with three local suppliers, reflecting the attractiveness of the Chinese supply chain.

The great enthusiasm and rich results of this fair fully reflect the urgent need to maintain the stability of the global supply chain. Currently, the geopolitical situation is tense, trade protectionism is escalating, and the United States has initiated global trade wars, which have seriously impacted global supply chains.

The report on supporting the global supply chain and related indices, released at the fair, shows that the resilience of the global supply chain is relatively weak. In this situation, the high popularity of the fair is proof of a hard truth: people need to "connect the world and create a future together."

Many foreign companies are continuously expanding their investments in China, creating a complete value chain from research and development to production and services. Their supply chain partnerships in China number in the thousands. The proportion of locally sourced parts by multinational automakers, such as Tesla, Volkswagen, and GM, has reached over 90%. As Tetsuro Honma, Panasonic's Vice President for Global Operations and Northeast Asia, stated, relying solely on local resources in China can lead to extensive development and create global competitiveness. This once again confirms that "China" is also about China.
