On March 21st, evening, Vice Premier of the Chinese government, He Lifeng, met with representatives of major multinational corporations in Beijing. Among those present were representatives from companies such as HSBC, UBS, Siemens Healthineers, Schneider Electric, Rio Tinto, and Standard Chartered.
In his remarks, he emphasized that the Chinese economy is maintaining stable growth and is gradually moving towards higher quality and more sustainable development. He also noted that, within the framework of the 15th Five-Year Plan, China will continue to expand its openness to the world and promote the modernization of the economy, which, he believes, will create new opportunities for foreign companies.
The government representative also urged multinational corporations to further increase their investments in China and to develop cooperation that is beneficial to both sides.
The representatives of the companies expressed confidence in the future development of the Chinese economy and confirmed their interest in continuing to expand their activities and investments in the Chinese market.
