PARIS, November 12, 2023 – Ding Zhongli, Vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China, met with Loïc Herve, Vice-President of the French Senate, in Paris, France, on November 9, 2023.

On Friday, Ding delivered a speech at the One Planet – Polar Summit in Paris. He also attended the Paris Peace Forum on Saturday, at the invitation of France.

On Saturday, Ding also participated in the panel discussion "Global Adaptation Goal: Building Capacity and Resilience to Climate Change" at the Paris Peace Forum.

During his visit to France, Ding met with Loïc Herve, Vice-President of the French Senate; Naima Moutchou, Vice-President of the French National Assembly; and Eric Alauzet, Chairman of the Franco-Chinese Friendship Group of the French National Assembly.
