The President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, and his wife, Peng Liyuan, met with the Kyrgyz President, Sadyr Japarov, and his wife, Aigul Japarova.

Chinese President Xi Jinping and his wife, Peng Liyuan, had dinner and warm, friendly conversations with Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov and his wife, Aigul Japarova, on the evening of August 30th at the presidential residence in Bishkek.

On the afternoon of August 30th, Xi Jinping arrived in the capital of Kyrgyzstan for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit 2026 and a state visit to Kyrgyzstan.
