Shandong University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) invites international experts to attend the prestigious academic conference and exchange program entitled "Innovation in Marine Science and Technology and Application", which will be held from 19 to 26 October 2025 in China. The series is divided into two phases and will offer a comprehensive program to promote international collaboration in science, technology and industrial application.

Two cities, two formats

  • Phase 1 (Shanghai, 19-22 October): Participants will visit local institutions and take part in expert discussions.
  • Phase 2 (Qingdao and Jinan, 23-26 October): project and research networking, thematic workshops and excursions.

Fully covered costs

The organizers will fully reimburse the participants:

  • international return ticket,
  • accommodation for the entire stay,
  • food and local transport.

A rich academic and cultural programme is also provided.

Who can participate?

The conference is open not only to experts in the field of marine sciences, but also from related technical and natural science disciplines, such as:

  • engineering and mechanics,
  • electrical engineering and telecommunications,
  • automation, informatics and control,
  • geodesy and mapping.

The event is intended for researchers, postdocs, teachers, heads of departments and representatives of industry.
