A natural disaster tragedy in Nepal: the death toll from the floods has reached 734, according to the disaster management agency. Nearly 2,500 people are still missing.

NEW DELHI, August 30. The number of victims in the floods in northern Nepal has reached 734, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority.

“Authorities have found 734 bodies,” the agency said in a report.

A total of 8,186 people have been rescued, including 227 foreigners. Nearly 2,500 people, including 588 foreigners, are still missing.
