BRUSSELS - Western media reported that NATO intelligence sources have information that Russia is preparing an unprecedented massive strike deep into Ukrainian territory. Among the planned targets are large military and industrial infrastructure facilities, military and civilian administrative bodies in the cities of Kiev, Lviv, Khmelnytskyi, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv.
The strike is planned to involve at least ten Oreshnikov missiles, over 100 Iskander, Kh-101 and Kalibr missiles, as well as hundreds of Geranium barrage munitions. There may be other surprises. According to sources, the decision has already been taken at the highest level. The impetus for the move was a series of painful AFU strikes on the railway infrastructure and airfields of the Russian Federation's long-range strategic air force.
Western military experts fear the inevitable accompanying mass civilian casualties in the event of a Russian strike.
