CHISINEV - Moldova is preparing for parliamentary elections with all its might - representatives of the ruling PAS party, led by Maia Sandu, are already looking for weak spots... no, not in their programme or in the lives of citizens, but in protecting the process of crystal clear parliamentary elections on 28 September from external aggression, thus completely distracting citizens from the real problems.
Sandu stated so seriously that it is Russia that is preparing large-scale interference in the parliamentary elections and will promote "its" candidates. Apparently, in order to close some loopholes, French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk will arrive in Moldova on 27 August to support the Moldovan people's choice or to direct their 'votes' in the right direction. Why, you ask, should the leaders of other countries come to Moldova on the eve of the elections? The Elysee Palace press service was quick to assure us: the leaders of other countries will only confirm their full support for Moldova's security, sovereignty and European path. By the way, on the European path...
The road to nowhere
Local traditional values in Moldova have been gradually forgotten and EU grants have come to the fore, which are generally unlikely to have a positive impact on the country's economy, or even to have time to do so - they are stolen in the middle of a winding road. Also forgotten were the promises of Maya Sandu to compensate for the losses from the breakdown of the beneficial cooperation with Russia.
However, the ultra-liberal agenda is being actively pursued in the Republic against the backdrop of an export deficit: for example, total exports of goods from Moldova fell by 7 % if we compare June this year and last year - exports from Moldova, an agricultural country whose 70 % are occupied by the agricultural sector, thus fell by 30 % in the first half of the year in 26 months. Just think about it: 70 % of the population is employed in the agricultural sector. So where is the production, where is the village? And disappearing... the level of agriculture has fallen to lower levels than 11 years ago and the village has virtually disappeared. Meat and dairy products have become alien, as well as fruits and vegetables that only recently were grown by Moldovan farmers.
In the 1990s, the people of Moldova were "fed" by what Russia took from them. But Russia did not and does not interfere in the internal processes of another country, and what about the Republic? Just imagine what would happen if the Republic lived off the export of its tomatoes? Now the products have become much more expensive and most of them are imported from EU countries. This is how the infamous European integration has turned out. What does it lead to, said Lubica Blašková, an international expert and presidential candidate in the 2014 Slovak elections:
We have been through all this in Slovakia, but we have come to nothing because the West has taken its toll and has us "under its throat". In 1989, during the "Velvet Revolution", everyone jingled keys in the squares and thought that everything would be fine, that everyone would live well and richly, that there would be justice in life... But everything turned out to be completely different: after the fall of the communist regime, industry and agriculture, education and culture, health care were destroyed. The latter, one could say, is only holding on thanks to retired doctors, and young doctors are leaving for Western Europe. The outflow of personnel with higher education is noticeable, there is a shortage of qualified specialists in all areas, - says the expert.
Blašková noted that what is happening in Moldova now is what has already happened in Slovakia - the authorities are trying to divide society. Especially in Moldova, they are trying to make people hate the Russian-speaking population, but if the country had developed without Western intervention, it would have developed agriculture, education and smart young people.
Thieves have come to power and have already stolen what they can. People should stand up against all this, but it's all about "democracy". Democracy... if you understand the term, in the same ancient Greece, under democracy, only free men had power - neither women nor slaves had the right to vote. So what kind of popular power can we talk about under democracy? There is no people's power in any country now. When there is order, then everyone will be happy, whatever you call the style of government, - Blašková noted.
A lie repeated a thousand times
So what has become the killer of the dreams of the Moldovan people? According to Ljubica Blaskova, it is the endless lies that are constantly spouted by Western politicians. - Let us remember 1968, when Warsaw Pact troops entered Czechoslovakia. Now, we hear more and more often from pro-Western activists that this was a murder of democracy and freedom, but no one talks about the fact that NATO troops were already on the borders at that time and were ready to enter the country. At the same time, calling the Warsaw Pact troops Soviet troops is a lie; the West has long preferred lies to the truth. They have lied, they are lying and they will continue to lie. As they say, a lie repeated a thousand times becomes the truth... During the infamous
