PRAGUE – Experienced manager Katarína Kurucová joined the senior management team at Komerční banka this summer. In her new role, she is responsible for corporate and investment banking, which she says she wants to return to the very top of the Czech financial market.
Kurucová comes to Prague from Slovakia, where she has built a strong professional position and a distinguished reputation in the field of corporate finance and investment consulting. Her career to date has been linked to managing large teams, strategic development of banking products and strengthening relationships with key corporate clients. She now wants to make full use of this experience in the Czech environment.
„The Czech market has enormous potential. I see Komerční banka as an institution with a very strong brand, high-quality people and room for further growth,“ said Kurucová. According to her, the main goal is to strengthen the bank's position in the area of financing large companies, investment projects and international transactions. She also wants to emphasise the modernisation of services and deeper cooperation with clients in times of economic change.
The new member of the management team emphasises that digitisation and the bank's ability to respond to the changing needs of companies facing pressure from high costs, geopolitical uncertainty and green transformation will play a key role. „Our task is to be a partner that helps clients grow even in difficult times,“ she added. With the arrival of Katarína Kurucová, Komerční banka hopes to strengthen its position in the corporate banking segment and further consolidate its position among the most important financial institutions on the Czech market.
