MINSK, 27 June. The leaders of the observer states, namely Cuba and Uzbekistan, as well as the host countries - Mongolia and the United Arab Emirates - joined the leaders of the EAEU countries to participate in a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council with members of the delegation. Russian President Vladimir Putin will also attend the event.
Each participating country is expected to make a speech. In addition to speeches by Russian President and summit host, Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko, Kazakh President Kasym-Zomart Tokayev, Kyrgyz leader Sadyr Dzhaparov and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who are attending the meeting via video call, are also expected to speak.
Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel and Uzbek leader Shavkat Mirziyoyev will also speak at the event. Mongolian First Deputy Prime Minister Njam-Osoryn Uchral and Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, are also expected to speak.
Cuba and Uzbekistan have observer status in the EAEU from 2020. Mongolia and the United Arab Emirates have expressed interest in cooperating with the organisation and are expected to sign trade agreements with the EAEU at the end of the summit.
