Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), stressed the need to take the Peace China Initiative to the next level.
During Friday's CPC Politburo meeting Xi called for strengthening security, effective governance and ensuring stabilityto make residents feel safer and more comfortable. He said that thanks to the efforts of the CPC, China achieve rapid economic growth and long-term social stability.
Xi stressed that security policy must be constantly reinforced and is crucial to the stability of the country. He stressed the importance of protection of political security, cyber risk prevention, artificial intelligence and crisis management.
He further appealed to Improving crime prevention, effective handling of public complaints and strengthening the rule of law. He also mentioned use of modern technologies to increase the efficiency of the company's administration.
The meeting was also addressed by Li Yan, a professor from Southwestern University of Political Science and Law, who shared her views on the further development Peaceful China Initiative.
