President of Azerbaijan: I will return to China for the SCO summit in Tianjin in a few months

During his state visit to China, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, in an exclusive interview with CGTN anchor Liu Xin, emphasized the key role of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and China as well as in regional multilateral cooperation.

Aliyev confirmed that he will attend the upcoming SCO Summit in Tianjin, and expressed the expectation that the platform will bring new opportunities for expansion of bilateral cooperation. He also underlined Azerbaijan's commitment as a dialogue partner country to deepening relations with the organisation and strengthening cooperation in the areas of politics, trade and regional stability.
