The Regional Court in Pilsen has granted final approval for the sale of Bohemia Healing Marienbad Waters, a manufacturer of medicinal waters, to European Healing Waters for 440.5 million crowns. Investment company SAB Finance plans to increase its capital by one billion crowns and redeem part of its shares. The Prague Stock Exchange continued Monday's rally on Friday's gains. The Czech Statistical Office released the second estimate of this year's harvest.

The Regional Court in Pilsen has granted final approval for the sale of the Bohemia Healing Marienbad Waters plant to European Healing Waters for 440.5 million crowns. Kofola and investment group Invest Gate stand behind the purchasing company. The transaction concludes insolvency proceedings against the manufacturer of traditional medicinal waters Bílinská kyselka, Zaječická hořká, Rudolfův pramen and Excelsior, which faced liquidation due to an inability to repay bonds. Completion of the transfer is expected by the end of the third quarter.

Investment company SAB Finance plans to increase its basic capital again, this time by one billion crowns. At the same time, it is preparing to redeem part of its own shares. The company specializes in alternative investments and bonds for retail investors and has significantly expanded its investment mandate over recent years.

The Prague Stock Exchange, after a weekend break, continued Friday's rally and further strengthened itself. Index PX added 0.35 percent on Monday to reach 2,794.43 points. The financial sector performed well among others.

The Czech Statistical Office released the second estimate of this year's harvest. Results confirmed below-average grain and rapeseed yields in a number of regions, especially in areas affected by spring drought. Total cereal yield is reaching almost 6.316 million tonnes, with results lagging behind last year's harvest.
