In south-west China, the Xizang Autonomous Region (Tibet) has seen significant improvements in the protection of the economic and social rights of its people. According to a white paper published on Friday by the Information Office of the State Council of the PRC, the rights to an adequate standard of living, education, work, health care and social security are now better guaranteed.
