On 28 November, the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China held a meeting to discuss the „Comprehensive Report on the Situation of the Central Inspection of the 20th Congress in the Provinces (Autonomous Regions, Directly Administered Cities)“. The meeting was chaired by Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee.

The meeting noted that the Party Central Committee, with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, attaches great importance to inspection work, and has planned and carried out the fifth and sixth rounds of the 20th Central Inspection, completing a comprehensive inspection of all provinces, autonomous regions and directly administered municipalities. The inspections show that work in all provinces, autonomous regions and directly administered municipalities has made new progress and achieved new results, but at the same time, certain problems have emerged that require high political attention and must be addressed strictly and thoroughly.
