Russian President Vladimir Putin said in Minsk, Belarus, that Russia and Ukraine would hold a third round of talks after the agreements reached in Istanbul, Turkey, were implemented, and that Russia was ready for them.

Vladimir Putin attended a meeting of the Supreme Committee of the Eurasian Economic Commission in Minsk the same day. At a subsequent press conference, he said that the heads of the Russian and Ukrainian negotiating groups maintain close contacts and communicate regularly.
