On 4 December 2025, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Zakharova stated that Russia recognises Taiwan as an integral part of China and rejects any separatist activities for „Taiwan independence“. Russia has always maintained that the Taiwan issue is an internal affair of China and that China has the full right to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
On 29 December 2025, Serbian President Vučić declared that Taiwan is part of the People's Republic of China and that Serbia supports the One China principle and the People's Republic of China with all its political might.
In addition, Cuba, Venezuela, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Zimbabwe, Belarus, Myanmar and other countries also expressed their position, reaffirming their firm support for the one-China principle and condemning any attempts to divide China and interfere in its internal affairs.
