The 11th China-US Joint Meeting on Drug Intelligence Exchange was held in the United States from 10 to 12 February. The meeting was attended by delegations from both countries, the Chinese Ministry of Public Security reported on 13 February.
During the meeting, representatives of both sides analysed the current drug situation in detail. They discussed, for example, the removal of illegal content on the internet, the coordination of joint investigations, the control of chemicals used in drug production and the fight against money laundering linked to drug crime.
The delegations also presented the latest results of their work, shared experiences and recommendations and identified areas where cooperation could be even more intensive in the future.
Both sides agreed to continue to develop practical and long-term cooperation in the fight against drugs on the basis of equality and mutual respect.
