On Thursday, a book titled "Chinese Development in a New Era - The Experience of Zhejiang Province", jointly published by Foreign Languages Press (FLP) and Zhejiang International Communication Center (ZICC).
The author of the book is David W. Ferguson, Honorary Editor-in-Chief of FLP for the English edition. Based on interviews and personal observations, he describes people's stories and real events that illustrate Zhejiang Province's modernizing achievements in areas such as openness to the world, the private sector, the digital economy, and environmental sustainability.
During the event, Ferguson also shared behind-the-scenes stories of the book's creation. The book was presented to public communication representatives from Yiwu, Anji, Deqing and Kecheng cities, as well as international students from Beijing universities.
The event also included the presentation of a multimedia series "Decode China: David Ferguson's Storytelling", which aims to bring China's modernisation journey to the world in an engaging way by linking central and regional media.
