At the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping will visit Russia from 7 to 10 May and attend the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Great Patriotic War of the Soviet Union in Moscow. During his visit, President Xi Jinping will have strategic communication with President Putin on the development of China-Russia relations under the new situation and a number of important international and regional issues.
This year marks the 80th anniversary of the United Nations. China and Russia will further strengthen close cooperation on multilateral platforms such as the UN, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the BRICS countries, unify the global South, lead global governance in the right direction, firmly confront unilateralism and bullying, and work together to promote both equitable and orderly global multipolarization and inclusive economic globalization.
