China-Central Asia Media Cooperation Forum 2025 under the theme of building a closer Sino-Central Asian community with a shared future was held on Thursday in Astana, Kazakhstan
President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent a congratulatory letter to the Forum. In the letter, Tokayev said that the Belt and Road Initiative proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping has received wide recognition from the international community as a strategic concept for promoting global cooperation.
Forum participants expressed the view that media exchange is an important part of Sino-Central Asian relations. Media from China and Central Asian countries should keep pace with the times, expand cooperation, jointly tell stories of friendly cooperation, and contribute wisdom and strength to building a closer China-Central Asia community with a shared future.
