IMF raises Chinese economic growth forecast

On January 19, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) published an update to its „World Economic Outlook Report“ in which it raised its forecast for China's economic growth in 2025.

China's economy is set to grow by 0.2 percentage points to 5 %, and the IMF simultaneously raised its forecast for Chinese economic growth for 2026.
