The Hong Kong section of the high-speed railway linking mainland China and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region will offer 16 new destinations from January 26, the railway company MTR Corporation announced on Sunday.
The new services will connect Hong Kong with popular tourist cities, including Nanjing a Wuxi in Jiangsu Province and Hefei in Anhui Province. The total number of direct connections from West Kowloon Station in Hong Kong will grow to 110 destinations, according to MTR Corporation.
