China Media Group (CMG) unveiled four satellite venues for the 2026 Spring Festival on Sunday. They are Harbin in the northeastern province of Heilongjiang, Yiwu in the eastern province of Zhejiang, Hefei in the eastern province of Anhui, and Yibin in the southwestern province of Sichuan.
In recent years, the satellite venues of the CMG Spring Festival have become an important window for showcasing the image, cultural features and local customs of various cities, thereby promoting tourism in these regions.
Harbin combines iconic ice and snow landscapes with modern technology, embodying the rich folk traditions of northern China and strong international appeal.

Yiwu is a major international trade hub in China, a key crossroads of the land and sea routes of the modern Silk Road. It is also a well-known manufacturing base for small commodities and a growing global trade centre.

Hefei is a leader in China's science and technology sector, while being deeply rooted in the rich cultural heritage of ancient Luzhou. It integrates opera performances into public cultural programmes and stands out as a liveable metropolis that preserves its traditional charm and offers a comfortable life for its residents.

Yibin It holds many prestigious titles, including „First City on the Yangtze River,’ “City of Spirits,„ “Bamboo Capital of China,„ and “Battery Capital.„ It is a dynamic city where historical traditions and modern vitality coexist harmoniously.

At the opening event, four satellite venues offered the audience breathtaking singing and dancing performances, each presenting unique cultural charm and urban elegance.
