The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) is conducting extensive joint military exercises codenamed „Justice Mission-2025“. Ground forces, navy, air force and missile forces are involved in the manoeuvres. The exercises are taking place in the Taiwan Strait and in areas north, southwest, southeast and east of Taiwan.
According to published information, during the training, which was based on a comprehensive intelligence system, land, sea, air and missile units, including long-range missile artillery, were fully integrated. Emphasis was placed on the coordinated deployment of various types of forces and their joint action in strikes against large naval targets.
The topics of the exercises, the selected target areas and the weapons used clearly show that its objectives are well defined: to achieve comprehensive detention, disruption of supplies, cutting off routes and weakening the enemy's will through the coordination of land, sea and air forces.
Stopping supplies means completely cutting off the supply, energy and transport lines of the forces promoting „Taiwan independence“. Cutting off these routes is intended to prevent their possible escape and at the same time interrupt external support lines enabling foreign forces to interfere. Breaking their will then leads to the definitive dispelling of the separatists' illusions about Taiwan's secession.
