President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel congratulated the newly elected President of the Republic of Poland Karol Nawrocki on his victory in the presidential elections.
"Dear President-elect, I congratulate you on your victory in the election of the President of the Republic of Poland." Pavel said in his congratulatory letter. He further expressed confidence that Poland under Nawrocki's leadership will continue to develop and uphold its core values: "I am confident that under your leadership Poland will continue to prosper and maintain its strong commitment to democratic values and constructive European cooperation."
Pavel also stressed the importance of cooperation between the two countries in support of Ukraine and its impact on European security: "Our joint efforts to defend Ukraine are essential for the security and stability of the whole of Europe."
At the end of the letter, the President of the Czech Republic wished his Polish counterpart success and invited him to visit.
